The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), India’s pioneering T10 tennis ball cricket tournament to be played inside a stadium, today announced the results of the ‘Invitation to Bid’ for the co-owners of the six teams in the ISPL. city. The enthusiastic response from bidders reached a record high of INR 1165 cr. being bid for all six city teams with Akshay Kumar’s Srinagar team getting the highest bid of Rs.251 cr. of Mr. Sanjay Gupta and SG Sports Pvt. Ltd. of Mr. Rohan Gupta. Limited.

The other winning bids were 225 cr. from Mr. Venkat K Narayana’s KVN Enterprises LLP to Hrithik Roshan’s Bangalore team; 205.6 rupees. from Ms. Neeti Agrawal’s PATH India Ltd. to Amitabh Bachchan’s Mumbai team; 200 rupees. from Mr. Irfan Razack’s INR Holdings to Ram Charan’s Hyderabad team; 163.6 rupees. from Mr. Rajdipkumar Gupta and Mr. Sandipkumar Gupta for Suriya’s Chennai team; and Rs 120 cr. from Aspect Global Ventures Pvt. Ltd. by Ms. Aksha Kamboj. Ltd. for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s Kolkata team.

The “Invitation to Bid” (ITB) had a base price of INR 10 Lakhs and the final bids stood at INR 1165.2 cr. They are a testament to the strength of the format and its potential to create an exciting new brand in world cricket.

The inaugural edition of ISPL will see the first matches of the series played between March 6-15, 2024 in Mumbai, adding a touch of entertainment to the game of cricket!
