In a recent video posted by the franchise on their social media, Conway could be seen taunting Ruturaj. The New Zealand star was sharing the batting experience with his former CSK fly partner Faf du Plessis and hilariously said that Ruturaj would be a bit jealous.
“It’s great to be among the group and have some time in between. Yeah, I hit with Faf (du Plessis) yesterday in the scrimmage, it was great to hit with him.” Conway said on the sidelines of a practice session.
“I know Rutu (Ruturaj Gaikwad) is going to be a bit jealous, but yeah, it was great batting with him, just watching him go about his business. She crushed him from ball one. So yeah, a lot of great things to learn from him and just enjoy my time here with the Texas Super Kings.” added.
Meanwhile, Gaikwad is currently in the West Indies for the upcoming two-match Test series. The right-handed batsman has earned his first Test squad call-up.
