
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) suffered a great blow to his hopes of playoffs after a heartbreaking defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), but can it continue to qualify for the Playoffs of IPL 2025?
Srh pursued a 206 target with ease to record a six Wickt victory in the Ekana Stadium on May 19, riding Fifth Fifth of Abhishek Sharma and other significant contributions of Isehan Kishan, Kamindu Mendis and Heinrich Klaasen. Previously, Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh criticized the respective means to boost LSG to the total of more than 200, but in the end it was not enough. With the loss now, the big question remains: can it continue to qualify despite this setback?
Can LSG continue to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs?
The short answer: No. After the defeat against SRH, LSG remains in the seventh place with five wins and seven losses after 12 games. Even if they win their two remaining accessories, the side led by Rishabh’s pants will not reach enough points to ensure an end among the top four.

At this point, the LSG qualification scenario is extremely clear. If they had defeated SRH, they would have been in dispute. But after that dominant performance on the side led by Pat Cummins, LSG has no more chance of qualifying.
