MS Dhoni, Mohammad Rizwan,

Mohammad Rizwan is a brilliant batsman and wicketkeeper from Pakistan and has done a brilliant job in all three formats over the last few years. However, how would you feel if someone compared him to the legend MS Dhoni?

Something similar happened recently when a Pakistani influencer compared MS Dhoni and Mohammad Rizwan on X and Harbhajan Singh couldn’t digest his words. Harbhajan Singh slammed the Pakistani content creator for asking such a silly question. He also added that even Rizwan would honestly tell him the real answer.

Mohammad Rizwan is a Pakistani batsman and wicketkeeper and one of the senior and experienced members of the current squad. He bats in the top order and has been a regular member of the national team alongside captain Babar Azam for the past few years.

Rizwan also took part in the recent ICC T20 World Cup 2024 where the Pakistan team put up a horrendous show. The Men in Green, led by Babar Azam, lost to the USA and the latter made history in international cricket. Pakistan also failed to make it to the Super 8 round, something that came as a huge blow to the fans and the Pakistan Cricket Board.

What a silly question! Harbhajan Singh mocks Pakistani influencer for comparing MS Dhoni and Mohammad Rizwan

Recently, a Pakistani influencer asked a question that caught Harbhajan Singh’s attention. He wrote on X, “MS Dhoni or Mohammad Rizwan? Who is better? Tell me honestly.” The Indian presenter couldn’t digest his views and trolled him like a comedian.

“What are you smoking these days? What a silly question. Bhaiyo isko batao. DHONI bhut aage hai RIZWAN se Even if you ask Rizwan, he will give you an honest answer on this,” the former Indian pacer wrote.

Harbhajan Singh, who was a regular bowler for Team India from almost 2000 to 2015, also praised Mohammad Rizwan for his intent. However, he backed his statement that comparing him with MS Dhoni is incorrect.

“I like Rizwan, he is a good player who always plays with intent… but this comparison is wrong. DHONI is number one even today in world cricket. No one better than him behind the stumps,” the former finger spinner added. Check out the tweet below.

MS Dhoni retired from international cricket in 2019

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni retired from international cricket in August 2019. He was the captain of Team India from 2007 to 2017 and gradually handed over the responsibility to Virat Kohli.

Under his captaincy, MS Dhoni won the T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup and Champions Trophy between 2007 and 2013. He is the only captain with all three of these ICC titles till date. He is also regarded as one of the best wicket-keepers for his tactics behind the stumps.
