JAY SHAH

In a heartwarming display of compassion and solidarity, Mr. Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, fulfilled the wishes of 12,000 patients battling major health issues like cancer and thalassemia, along with their families. Even blood donors and organizers of blood donation camps for the cause were included in the special guest list. The experience lit up the faces of these people with smiles of joy as they watched yesterday’s exciting TATA IPL 2024 match between the Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals, live at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

This extraordinary gesture will go a long way to raising awareness about cancer and thalassemia, and the challenges faced by those living with this condition. It also gave people a much-needed day of fun and entertainment. Happy and excited faces were clearly visible, cheering on their favorite teams, creating a unique atmosphere of joy and camaraderie never seen before in the stadium. This kind gesture by the BCCI, under the leadership of Mr. Shah, shows how cricket has the power to unite communities and positively impact the lives of those in need.
