
Jitesh Sharma took Bengaluru to the Royal Challengers for the first time on Friday against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
WICKETKEPER-BATTER JITESH SHARMA created the story on Friday when Bengaluru (RCB) faced Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in an IPL 2025 match in Lucknow. JITESH is the leader of Royal Challengers Bangalore in Friday’s game.
JITESH SHARMA’s remarkable feat
In doing so, Jitesh Sharma became the first Wicktkeeper to lead Bengaluru Royal Challengers. The regular Captain of RCB, Rajat Patidar, was appointed as one of the substitutes for the impact player.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru had won the raffle and chose to sign first. However, his decision to do so proved to be a setback since Isehan Kishan had other plans. Isohan Kishan scored 94 undefeated races from 48 balls to Power Hyderabad Sunrisers to 231/6 from 20 overs.

Jitesh Sharma was acquired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for INR 11 million rupees in the Mega Mega 2025 auction. However, he has not fulfilled that price in regards to his batting. JITESH has scored only 128 races from 11 games at an attack rate of 142.22.
