Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal has issued a warning to the Pakistan national cricket team ahead of the Test series against the Bangladesh national cricket team. He said that the opposition bowlers will cause problems for the Shan Masood-led team in the series.

The Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh national cricket team is just three days away. The first match between the teams will be played on August 21 in Rawalpindi, followed by the second match at the same venue on March 30, earlier scheduled to be held in Karachi.

The Test series between the teams will also be part of the ICC World Test Championship and both teams would be keen to pick up some crucial points. The surface for the first match is expected to be conducive to pace as the hosts have asked the officials to prepare a green track.

With the first match set to be played on the green track, there is expected to be a massive contest between bat and ball. Both teams have some quality players in their ranks and it promises to be an enthralling game of cricket with WTC points up for grabs as well.

Pakistan national cricket team would be the favourites to win the series as they will be playing at home and will be more aware of the conditions. But they cannot rule out Bangladesh national cricket team either, who have been playing a decent brand of cricket lately.

The pace attack of the team led by Najmul Hossain Shanto has some exciting names and Taskin Ahmed has also returned. Pakistan Although the batsmen are having a hard time getting into rhythm of late, the visitors can surely have their moments in the game and might even outscore the opposition.

Former Pakistani cricketer Kamran Akmal is also aware that it will not be easy for the Shan Masood-led team with the bat. He stressed that the visitors have quality fast bowlers and it will not be as easy for the Pakistani batsmen as they think. In a video posted on his YouTube channel, he explained:

“Challenge your batsmen. It won’t be that easy for you. Bangladesh’s bowling attack, especially the fast bowlers, is not that easy. They also have fast bowlers with a speed of 135-140 kmph. It won’t be as easy as you think.”

The upcoming series against Bangladesh will be the second for Shan Masood after being named captain last year. With the Bangladesh National Cricket Team series all set to be played at home, he will have a great opportunity to record his first win as a Test captain.

He had earlier captained the team in the Test series against Australia. However, the series did not go as he would have wished as Pakistan suffered a 3-0 drubbing. It remains to be seen how he will cope this time.
