Released KKR batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz smashes Virat Kohli's record

With his eighth century, Gurbaz now equals Sachin Tendulkar and Quinton de Kock for most ODI tons before turning 23, surpassing Virat Kohli, who had seven.

Afghanistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman and former KKR player Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a brilliant knock, scoring a century to lead his team to a resounding five-wicket victory over Bangladesh on Monday.

In the final match of the series, Bangladesh set Afghanistan a target of 245. Although Gurbaz did not receive much support from the other end, with Afghanistan slipping to 84/3 in 20.1 overs, it was he who scored most of it.

However, he teamed up with Azmatullah Omarzai for a victory of the century, and Afghanistan completed the chase with 10 balls to spare. Gurbaz scored 101 off 120 balls, seven sixes and five fours.
