Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC) face off in match 26 of IPL 2024 in Lucknow on Friday, April 12.
The match starts at 7.30 pm IST between two polar opposite teams in its current form. The head-to-head between LSG and DC greatly favors the local team Lucknow Super Giants.
LSG come into this match after winning against RCB and GT.DC, on the other hand, lost their previous two games against KKR and Mumbai Indians.
They couldn’t take advantage of home advantage against KKR and against Mumbai they couldn’t chase 235.
For DC, their bowlers in the last two games against KKR and MI were hit at all corners. They need to readjust their bowling attack to prevail against Lucknow, who have done well at home.
The Lucknow Super Giants are 13-0 when defending totals of over 160. This is a fabulous achievement for a team that does not have a reputed fast bowler. Rookie Mayank Yadav will miss the next match as his workload is under control after suffering an abdominal strain.

Delhi Capitals’ bowlers, on the other hand, have taken a beating in the last two games. They asked their batsmen to chase more than 299 totals in consecutive games, which proved to be difficult.
They didn’t play Kuldeep Yadav in the last two games and Axar Patel, as the only spinner specialist, had a lot to do. Kuldeep needs to get back into the playing XI.
