Texas Super Kings (TSK), owned by Chennai Super Kings (CSK), have enlisted the services of Faf du Plessis for the upcoming inaugural edition of Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023. The South African batsman will be reunited with his former franchise, featuring with who spent most of his career in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The inaugural edition of Major League Cricket is set to take place in the US from July 13-30. A total of 6 teams including the Indian franchises in Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings will participate in the tournament and the league will be played in Grand Prairie, a suburb of Dallas, Texas.

MLC 2023: Stephen Fleming will be the head coach of the Texas Super Kings at MLC 2023
Stephen Fleming, who is the head coach of Chennai Super Kings since 2008 in IPL, has been given the same role in Major League Cricket. He will be joined by Eric Simmons who will be the assistant coach.
Albie Morkel will also serve as an assistant coach, while Russell Krishnan will serve as the team’s manager. Gregory King will serve as her strength and conditioning coach, while Lakshmi Narayanan and Tommy Simsek will serve as performance analysts and physical therapists, respectively.
