The Mumbai Indians are out of IPL 2025 after losing to Punjab Kings for five WICKETS in qualifier 2. His season was a mixture of ups and downs. They had a bad start, winning only one match of their first five and falling into the ninth place in the points table.

Things turned when they put on a winning streak, obtaining six victories in a row and becoming the playoffs.

They finished the stage of the League with eight victories of 14 games and secured the fourth place. In the playoffs, they beat the Gujarat Titans in the eliminator, but could not exceed the kings of Punjab in qualifier 2.

Some Mumbai players did it very well this season, while others could not play as expected. Let’s see how each player did in IPL 2025.

Hardik Pandya – 7/10

Captain Hardik Pandya had a good season with Bat and Ball. He scored 224 races in 12 entries at an attack rate of 163.50. With the ball, he took 14 wickts in 14 games, but his economy rate was on the upper side at 9.77. It was a decent season, but his team could have waited a little more from him.

Rohit Sharma – 6/10

Rohit Sharma had a lower season with the bat. He scored 418 races in 15 tickets with an average of 29.85 and a strike rate of 149.28, but lacked consistency. He scored four half centuries, and the Indians of Mumbai won all those games.

Ryan Rickelton – 6/10

Ryan Rickelton scored 388 races in 14 games at an average of 29.84 and an attack rate of 150.97. He hit three half centuries this season. However, the playoffs for Mumbai Indians were lost when he returned home after being selected for the next WTC 2025 final.

Suryumumar Yadav – 10/10

The best player for the Mumbai Indians this season and one of the best artists in the league was Suryakumar Yadav. He had a fantastic season with the bat, scoring 717 races in 16 games at an average of 65.18 and a strike rate of 167.91. He did five half -centuries and became the first batter to score 25 or more races in 16 consecutive games. His great performance was a great reason why Mumbai’s Indians arrived at the playoffs.

Tilak Varma – 5/10

Tilak Varma had a decent season, scoring 343 races in 13 tickets. He hit an average of 31.18 and a strike rate of 138.30, including two means.

Will Jacks – 5/10

Will Jacks scored 233 races in 11 tickets this season with an average of 23.30 and a strike rate of 135.46, including half a century. As a part -time spinner, he also took six WICKETS. The playoffs for Mumbai Indians were lost because England called it for the Odi series against Western Indies.

Naman plants – 7/10

Naman Dhir was excellent for Mumbai Indians this season as a finalist. He scored 252 races in 12 tickets with an average of 31.50 and a strike rate of 182.60.

DEEPAK CHAHAR – 4/10

Deepak Chahaha could have done it better this season. He took only 11 WICKETS in 14 games, with an economy rate of approximately 9.17. Playoffs matches were lost due to an injury.

Jasprit Bumrah – 9/10

Jasprit Bumrah was probably the best bowling player in the Mumbai Indians this season. He took 18 wickts in 12 games and had an excellent economy rate of 6.67, the best in the tournament. Like Suryakumar Yadav, Bumrah’s contributions were very important for the team.

Trent Boult – 8/10

Trent Boult was another key artist for Mumbai Indians this season. He collected 22 WICKETS in 16 games with an economy rate of 8.96. He played an important role in his bowling attack and was also the highest of Wickt of the team this season.

Karn Sharma – 5/10

Karn Sharma had a decent season, taking seven wickts in five tickets with an economy rate of 8.53. It was used as an impact player this season.

Mitchell Santner

Mitchell Santner took 10 wickts in 13 games this season. Its economy rate was good in 7.92. In some games, he did not even launch his four complete overs and played only 1 or 2 overs.

Vignesh Puthur – 5/10

Vignesh Puthur played five games this season and took six WICKETS at an economic rate of 9.08. Unfortunately, he was discarded in the middle of the tournament due to an injury.

Jonny Bairstow – 7/10

Jonny Bairstow entered as a replacement for Ryan Rickelton and played two games for the Mumbai Indians. He had a good impact by scoring 47 and 38 in the two playoff games. Previously, it was not sold at the IPL 2025 auction, but with these performances, it could have secured a place for the next mini auction.

Abroad in Umar – 6/10

Ashwani Kumar, playing his first IPL season, took 11 wickts in the seven games he played. He did a decent job with the possibilities of having as an impact player for the Mumbai Indians. Its economy rate was 11.31, which is on the upper side, but it is expected to improve in the next seasons.
