Naveen-ul-Haq Calls Virat Kohli A Fool!! Labels ‘Viratians’ As Donkeys As He Reignites The Fight

Afghanistan’s fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq appears to have developed a taste for posting cryptic posts on social media and creating controversy. It all started after his infamous on-pitch brawl with Virat Kohli during the latest edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore in May ended in controversial fashion with Naveen-ul-Haq and Kohli at the center of the incident. They were involved in a verbal dispute that started during the game and got very ugly after the game ended.

During the game, Kohli had apparently shown his shoe to Naveen-ul-Haq in a disrespectful manner. Later, when the players were shaking hands after the game, the Afghanistan star decided to snub the RCB star. Soon, Kohli also clashed with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir before players on both sides separated them.

Naveen ul-Haq’s Instagram post causes a stir:

After the incident in the field, both Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq apparently shot each other by posting cryptic stories on their respective Instagram handles. And while Kohli is pretty much over the incident, the same can’t be said for Naveen. The LSG bowler has wowed fans again with an Instagram story.

Two months after that infamous incident in Lucknow, Naveen posted a cryptic video showing the fable of a tiger arguing with a donkey. The quote towards the end of the video reads: “The worst waste of time is to argue with the fool and fanatic who does not care about truth or reality, but only the victory of their beliefs and illusions. There are people who, no matter how much evidence we present to them, are unable to understand, and others are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and the only thing they want is to be right even if they are not.”

The post comes just days after Naveen claimed that Kohli started the fight. Blaming Kohli for the incident, Naveen had said it was the former India captain who grabbed his hands “hard” after the match.

“I shouldn’t have said all those things during the game and after. I didn’t start the fight. After the match, when we were shaking hands, Virat Kohli started the fight.” Naveen told BBC Pashto in an interview last month.
