Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid after the trio helped Team India win the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted three tweets on X to praise the trio on social networks.

While Rohit Sharma did a wonderful job during the group stage and the Super 12, Virat Kohli scored a match-winning knock of 76 runs in the final. He also won the Man of the Match award. Moreover, Rohit Sharma helped India win an ICC title after a long time.

Rahul Dravid has done a wonderful job since taking over as India’s head coach in 2021. He helped the team win the 2023 Asia Cup before the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup. Notably, Dravid also put together a dominant group of players who crushed all the teams in recent times.

PM Modi praises Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid

After India won the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to praise Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid. He praised Rohit Sharma for his aggressive mentality, batting and captaincy.

“You are excellence personified. His aggressive mentality, batting and captaincy have given a new dimension to the Indian team. His T20 career will be fondly remembered. Nice to have spoken to you today,” he said. Take a look at the tweet below.

Talking about Virat Kohli, Prime Minister Modi said that his innings in the final of the ICC T20I World Cup 2024 will be remembered and he will have confidence to motivate the generation of players.

“I’m glad I talked to you. Just like the finals innings, you have anchored the Indian batting splendidly. You have shined in all forms of the game. T20 Cricket will miss you but I am sure you will continue to motivate the new generation of players,” check out his tweet below.
