Before the start of the much-awaited contest between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, star opening batsman Priyansh Arya expressed that he wants to steal one of the attributes of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s batting.
The Punjab Kings returned home to New Chandigarh, a ground where they have done it all, be it chasing massive totals or defending low scores. The Kings would love to extend their winning streak here and into this season as well.
However, what remains a major concern for the Kings is the young RR who has been topping almost every roster. He has been the breakout player of the season so far, one of the best strikers of the ball, one of the best openers and one of the highest scoring batsmen of this edition as well.

Sooryavanshi has been in impressive form in this edition of the competition as he not only made splendid starts to the season but also converted them into massive scores like the century in the last game and the number of half-centuries in the competition.
Every opponent and almost every player who has played against him has been terrified and has no idea what could help them get out of that batting arc. Now, another great opener Priyansh Arya has also expressed the desire to take away that quality from the young cricketer.
When asked what attribute or quality of Sooryavanshi he would love to adopt this season, Arya stated that he would love to have that excellent bat swing from the youngster which has helped him thrive on most occasions and generate that extra power.
Priyansh Arya said, “I would like to borrow Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s bat.”

The IPL includes a competition among its players, which marks the players who have been Super-Strikers in the game, and the criteria is that they would have to participate in more than seven games and face more than 100 balls.
In this race, the likely Indian youngsters have dominated the foreign players this season, with Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi topping the batsmen’s list. Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Rajat Patidar are the other players in the list.
With a strike rate of 250, Priyansh Arya currently surpasses the young RR batsman who has hit 238 in his outings in the current season of the competition.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi regains the orange cap
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi now also topped the Orange Cap rankings this time. After scoring another quickfire 43 off just 16 balls, he once again moved to the top of the Orange Cap list with 400 runs in just 9 games this season.
What has set him apart from his teammates is the consistency with which he has delivered despite that enormous goal rate. He has left behind the likes of the great Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Heinrich Klaasen and also Indian opener Abhishek Sharma.
