India teammates Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma were involved in a fascinating duel on Sunday (May 12) when Royal Challengers Bengaluru took on Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli tried to get under Ishant Sharma’s skin but the latter had the last laugh as he managed to dismiss the in-form batsman to give DC a solid start in the crucial game. In the first over of RCB’s innings, Virat Kohli had targeted Ishant Sharma by hitting him for a six.

The former India captain decided to attack the pacer again when he came to bowl his second and fourth innings. On the first ball of the over, Kohli edged the delivery but was lucky that he was very far from the keeper and escaped for a four. Both players were then seen exchanging a few words.

On the second ball, Kohli hit Ishant Sharma for a longer six. The right-arm pacer then bowled a point and a wide before dismissing Kohli in the fourth ball of the over. Kohli went for a walk but ended up passing the ball to the goalkeeper.

Ishant Sharma was delighted with the dismissal and made sure to let Kohli know. Both players then laughed before Kohli walked away.
