India captain Rohit Sharma posted a stunning picture with the team’s youngsters after the series win over England. They sealed the series by a 4-1 margin after a stellar win at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.

The long India vs England series has finally concluded and ended in favor of Rohit Sharma’s army. After losing the first match of the series, the way the hosts bounced back was nothing short of exceptional with all the challenges they faced.

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul missed the series, Ravindra Jadeja missed a game due to injury and Shreyas Iyer also went down. With all the challenges present and with young players in the team, Rohit Sharma & Co overcame Bazball’s challenge and handed Ben Stokes his first series defeat as captain.

Youngsters Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal and others contributed at vital stages for the Indians and helped the team win the game. Even when the hosts were down, they stood tall and soaked up all the pressure.

One of the highlights of the series was the way Rohit Sharma led the team and showed confidence in the youngsters. The young players, in turn, made sure to restore the captain’s confidence and got the team out of trouble in difficult times.

Rohit Sharma also led from the front and amassed over 400 runs in the series. After committing failures in both the games, the captain made sure to step up for the team and help them win. He destroyed a magnificent century in which the Rajkot team was struggling.

In the next match at Ranchi, he scored a vital half-century for the team in the chase before scoring a fantastic century at Dharamshala. Rohit Sharma collected 400 runs at an average of 44.4 to complete two and a half centuries.

After winning the series, Rohit Sharma posted a photo with Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Sarfaraz Khan on his Instagram account. What caught the attention of many was the title that read: “Garden mein ghoomne wale bande”.

Here is the post:

The “garden mein ghoomne wale bande” here refers to Rohit Sharma’s comments he made during the Vizag Test. He was heard saying into the external microphone: “Anyone wandering around the garden will fuck everyone.”

These guys may have little experience, but they have played a lot of cricket: Rohit Sharma on the youngsters in Team India.

During the post-match presentation, Rohit Sharma praised the youngsters in the team and admitted that they had little experience but had played a lot of domestic cricket. He said:

“These guys maybe have little experience, they’ve played a lot of cricket and I can stand here and see these guys responded pretty well under pressure. The credit goes to the entire team and it was a pleasure to see. When you win a series like this, we talk about scoring runs and 100s, but it is important to take 20 wickets to win a Test. “It was nice to see the way the bowlers took the responsibility.”

Yashasvi Jaiswal finished the series as the leading run-getter with 712 runs to his name. Shubman Gill was second in the charts with 452 runs. Also, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel scored crucial half-centuries for the team.
