U19 World Cup champion and Indian batsman Saurabh Tiwary has announced his retirement from professional cricket. Saurabh Tiwary will play the last domestic match of his career starting February 15 in Jamshedpur. During a press conference at Keenan Stadium, Tiwari reported the news of his farewell. Saurabh Tiwary has played 3 ODIs for India who have just scored 49 runs.

Saurabh Tiwary started his first-class career during his teenage years. Tiwary has played a total of 115 matches in first-class cricket and has scored 8030 runs at an average of 47.51. He has scored 22 centuries and 54 half-centuries during his first-class career and the highest score by him has been 238.

Saurabh Tiwary announces retirement from professional cricket

Saurabh Tiwary has also represented four Indian Premier League franchises including Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils (Delhi Capitals) and Rising Pune Supergiants.
