Sarfaraz Khan played a vital role for team India in the ongoing match against England in Dharamsala. The batsman, who made his debut for India in Rajkot, made sure to maintain his golden touch and played another useful knock for the team in the longest format of the game.
Sarfaraz Khan came out to bat during the difficult phase and ensured that India did not falter. He negotiated the complicated phase well and once inside, he made sure to take the game away from his rival. The batsman played an aggressive style of cricket and played some glorious shots in his innings.

Sarfaraz Khan finished with 56 innings off 60 balls. He hit 8 boundaries and 1 six in his innings. This was his third fifty-plus score in Test cricket. He reached a half-century in both the innings of his debut game in Rajkot and would like to add more to his tally in the next innings.

Naushad Khan, Sarfaraz’s father, recently revealed how Suryakumar Yadav convinced him to attend the batsman’s debut game in Rajkot. The Mumbai Indians batsman told his teammate’s father that he had to be there.
Naushad Khan further stated that watching Sarfaraz Khan get his international debut was a dream come true moment for his family. Speaking to Sportstar, he stated:
“When my family was present when I received the Test cap last year in Nagpur, it was a surreal moment for all of us. You have to be there. That forced me to modify the plans and we tried to see if we could all go down.” The words of Suryakumar Yadav
“Due to limited flight connectivity to Rajkot, we could only get a flight ticket, but after seeing the family’s dream come true, I feel it was worth coming at the last minute.”
