India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant will return to international cricket in the T20 World Cup 2024. After missing many crucial games for the team due to the horrific accident, he returned to the team for the World Cup.
Rishabh Pant returned to cricket in IPL 2024 and showed a sinister touch with the bat and also looked extremely fit while maintaining it. Due to his excellent performance in the league, where he scored more than 400 runs, he was included in the squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
On Saturday (May 25), Rishabh Pant joined the Indian team and was seen boarding the flight for the T20 World Cup 2024 along with the other team members. The team led by Rohit Sharma left for New York from Mumbai.
Rishabh Pant, however, caught the attention of many with his gesture. As he walked inside the airport, a member of the media staff asked him to return home with a trophy. The wicketkeeper-batsman came with a smile and a thumbs up and the video went viral on the Internet.

Rishabh Pant is likely to be the first choice wicketkeeper for the Indian team in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. The wicketkeeper-batsman played some incredible knocks in the league and scored 446 runs, with an average of 40 and a strike rate 155 in the 13 games he played.
Rishabh Pant will be extremely crucial for the team in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. The left-hander will play the finisher role for the team. He would love to make an impact in the tournament and lead his team to glory in what will be his return match for India after a while.

Recently, former India player Yuvraj Singh spoke about Rishabh Pant and stated that the wicketkeeper-batsman has the potential to win games for India. He said he would be a match-winner on the big stage. He said:
“I think Rishabh has huge potential to win matches for India, something he has done in the past. “There is a lot more to Test cricket, and he is (Pant) someone who I think can win a match on the big stage.” He concluded.
It remains to be seen whether Rishabh Pant will be able to replicate his IPL form in the T20 World Cup 2024 or not.
