Bangladesh fans are starting to panic ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup and for good reason. Their latest shock defeat at the hands of United States was not only their third consecutive loss, but also their 100th in T20i cricket, the first full member nation to suffer that fate.

UNITED STATES BETTING ANALYSIS
Batting first and scoring 144/6 didn’t look like a target that United States would defend against Bangladesh in the second T20i, but clearly the host bowlers didn’t get the memo. Ali Khan was brilliant with the ball, starring with a spell of 3/25, those three wickets proving vital as the Tigers were bowled out for 138.
United States captain Monank Patel demonstrated his ability with the bat, striking 42 and the wicket-keeper was well supported by both fellow opener Steven Taylor and Aaron Jones batting at four. All could have big parts to play again in this final match of the series.
BANGLADESH BETTING ANALYSIS
Once again, Mustafizur Rahman was the stand out player for Bangladesh on Thursday with a second consecutive two-wicket haul, but yet again it wasn’t enough to dictate the result. Shakib Al Hasan was wicketless and despite his 30 with the bat, it wasn’t enough to save his side.
Only four players reached double figures among the Tigers’ batting line-up as the lower order collapse dramatically under pressure. This hardly bodes well for them ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup, where such pressure will ramp over even more with no room for error.
UNITED STATES VS BANGLADESH EXPERT PREDICTION
The series has been an unmitigated disaster for Bangladesh. Results will have surely affected the confidence within the camp, whilst supporters are understandably unhappy with what they are seeing. United States though, deserve massively credit as they’ve been fantastic, taking powerplay wickets and holding their nerve at the death. They will be one to watch at the World Cup.
This final game of the series could go either. With United States having already wrapped up the series, the match feels far more important from a Bangladesh point of view just to inject some confidence into their squad ahead of next month. The result is huge from their point of view and this may just see them finally edge it on this occasion.
