Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam turned into a new avatar during the ongoing third and final ODI match against the Australian national cricket team. Babar Azam became the Pakistan cricket team’s physiotherapist and fixed left-arm bowler Shaheen Afridi’s dislocated thumb during the match in Perth.
Pakistan began the series with a two-wicket defeat in the close encounter in Melbourne. The team bounced back with a comfortable nine-wicket win in the second game to level the ODI series. The visiting team will currently face Australia in the series decider on Sunday, November 10.

The incident took place in the third ball of the 26th over in Australia’s innings. Shaheen Afridi suffered pain after a shot from deep mid-wicket hit his left thumb. He grimaced in discomfort and Babar Azam rushed to help him. The veteran Pakistani batsman tried to return Shaheen’s thumb to its place.
