Pakistan national cricket team has regrouped and started preparing for the Test series against Bangladesh national cricket team. The first match will be held at the Rawalpindi International Stadium while the second match of the series will be held in Karachi from August 30.

Pakistan National Cricket Team players are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for the series. The batsmen have been working hard in the net sessions while on the other hand, the bowlers are sweating hard, ensuring that they are in top form ahead of the series.

The centre of attention will be on Babar Azam, who is considered the best batsman in the Pakistan national cricket team. He will be playing under the leadership of Shan Masood in the series and before the first game, he was seen providing valuable insights to the captain.

In the video that has gone viral on the internet, Babar Azam can be seen giving batting tips to captain Shan Masood. The team captain was listening attentively to the defensive techniques of the former team captain ahead of the first Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.

Here is the video:

Babar stepped down as Test captain after the 2023 ICC World Cup and then the Pakistan Cricket Board appointed Shan Masood as the captain of the team. The left-hander took charge of the team during the Test series against the Australian National Cricket Team last year.

Under his leadership, Pakistan came close to winning matches in Australia but failed to capitalise on decisive moments and ended up losing the series by a 0-3 margin.

Pakistan’s white-ball team, under the leadership of Babar Azam, has suffered many defeats. Recently, it suffered an early elimination from the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and received a lot of criticism. But on the other hand, Shan Masood would be keen to make an impact on the red ball.

This will be Masood’s second assignment after being appointed captain last year. With the Bangladesh National Cricket Team series all set to be played at home, he will have a great opportunity to record his first win as a Test captain.

Babar will be the key factor for Pakistan’s national cricket team ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh. Though he has not registered a single fifty in the longest format of the game since 2022, he would be keen to turn things around and make an impact.
