What was commendable to see was… – Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik spoke about the team’s poor batting performance. He said the quick wickets hurt his momentum after a good start in the powerplay against the Gujarat Titans.

“Virat started beautifully, classic Virat, especially against Rabada. But we lost wickets in a group. Every time we got a chance to come forward and build a partnership, we lost a wicket, and that finally caught up with us,” Dinesh Karthik said.

“What was commendable was seeing the attitude and the bowling coming together. Like a championship team would do, we gave them nerves in the middle. If a couple of things had gone our way, who knows what it would have been like. I’m very proud of the effort and attitude the boys showed,” he added.

The pleasant and encouraging thing is… – Mo Bobat

Royal Challengers Bengaluru director of cricket Mo Bobat acknowledged the team’s strong comeback after Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler dominated early on. He praised Romario Pastor and highlighted the team’s fighting spirit despite the difficult situation.

“The nice and encouraging thing is that the players made a good change today again. It was good to see Romario find a rhythm too. We made them fight, and that’s important in games like this,” Bobat said.

“You’re not going to win every game, but in the games where you come second, you have to fight for the win, and I think we did that today. We’ll take a few days, come back more alert and focus on the next game,” he added.
