Although Glenn Maxwell did not have a great outing with the bat, he makes sure to give it his all during the course. Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The match is underway at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

Chasing the target of 174 runs, Chennai Super Kings got off to a cheerful start despite Ruturaj Gaikwad (15) losing his early wicket. But Ajinkya Rahane made sure to ooze class with the bat and, along with Rachin Ravindra, took the bowlers to the cleaners.

Ajinkya Rahane played some magnificent shots in his innings and barely made a mistake in his stroke. He kept Chennai Super Kings in the hunt and looked like he would take his team home. But Glenn Maxwell’s brilliance on the field brought the Indian batsman back to the hut.

Cameron Green again bowled a long ball through middle leg. The ball didn’t go up that much and Ajinkya Rahane stayed back to shoot. The ball came out of the top half as he controlled his shot. He was running towards the boundary but Glenn Maxwell stopped him in the middle.

Glenn Maxwell, in the deep box and back, put in a brilliant effort. He was a few yards in, but he managed to run to his left and jump at second right to swallow the ball and send a dangerous-looking Ajinkya Rahane back to the hut.
