Talking about her innings, Jemimah Rodrigues said that it means a lot to her as she waited a long time to get her ton. She said she wanted to be there for the team until the end. He also spoke about his 183-run partnership with Harleen Deol (89). Speaking after the innings, he said:

“This means a lot. It’s been a long wait to get this hundred. More than anything, I’m happy that the team gave me a spot at number four and I was able to live up to it. “But it’s just that feeling of batting to the end; that was the thought process, and I’m glad I was able to do it. The hundred just came. At first, it took me some time to get used to the conditions. I know that at any time I can speed up, I have that game, but for me it was important to stay there. While I was doing that, Harleen kept telling me “keep playing, keep playing.”
