Watch: Kuldeep Yadav gives LBW decision before third umpire and taunts Tanzid Hasan with ‘finger’ sign

Kuldeep Yadav, on Saturday (June 22), tried to stop Tanzid Hasan from wasting a review but the Bangladesh opener wasted it anyway during the ongoing Super 8 game between India and Bangladesh in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

The incident took place in the 10th over when the India spinner dismissed the Bangladesh batsman. In the fourth ball of the over, Kuldeep Yadav completely fooled Tanzid Hasan with a googly. The ball landed just outside the off stump and Hasan expected it to deflect.

He tried a cut shot, but the googly completely surprised him when the ball swung the other way. The ball hit his back leg, just in front of the stumps. The Indian players requested an lbw and the on-field umpire did not hesitate to rule in their favour.

However, Hasan thought he had not gone out and decided to go upstairs. And while the Bangladesh batsman contemplated reviewing the decision, Kuldeep Yadav tried to stop him by taunting him and constantly pointing fingers that he was right. However, Hasan reviewed the decision anyway and soon regretted his call.
