Watch: Marcus Stoinis threatens to hit Shivam Dube as duo exchange smoldering glances at T20 World Cup

India batsman Shivam Dube made a decent contribution with the bat for his team in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 match against Australia. The match between the two teams is underway at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

Shivam Dube, who came to bat at No. 5, tried to up the ante and tried to maintain the momentum. The lanky all-rounder played some good shots in his innings and put pressure on the Australian bowlers at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

During the innings, Shivam Dube also had a dispute of sorts with Marcus Stoinis. On the last ball of the 15th over, the all-rounder bowled a Yorker delivery straight into the wicket hole. The Indian batsman stabbed it towards the pacer, who then tried to hit the batsman, who had a cold reaction.

After starting quickly with the bat, Shivam Dube struggled with his timing in the second half of the innings. The left-hander tried to hit the big six but couldn’t get it right as the Australian bowlers bowled him good lines and lengths at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia.

Shivam Dube was dismissed by Marcus Stoinis in the 19th over of the game. The pacer bowled a full delivery over the boots, to which he tried to clear his front leg and move it away. He played the shot halfway as the ball reached the hands of David Warner at mid-wicket, who dived low to complete the catch.

Shivam Dube finished with an innings of 28 runs off 22 balls. The left-hander played with a strike rate of over 227 and scored 2 fours and 1 six in his innings. After getting out, Hardik Pandya (27*) finished the innings on a high and ensured India crossed the 200-run mark.
