Australian middle-order batsman Marnus Labuschagne had a Déjà vu of sorts after the West Indies player Kevin Sinclair He caught it in the second innings of Australia’s second Test against the West Indies. Interestingly, Kevin Sinclair also caught Marnus Labuschagne in the first inning.

The second test of Australia vs West Indies takes place at the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane, Australia. Australia has a target of 216 runs in the second innings. They lead the series 1-0 after the opening match.

Marnus Labuschagne had a bit of bad luck in both innings of the match. He got out by single digits in both innings. Furthermore, he was caught by the same fielder Kevin Sinclair in both innings of the second Test of Australia vs West Indies.

In the second innings, Justin Greaves bowled a perfectly long delivery to Marnus Labuschagne. The Australian batsman tried to defend him. However, he went straight to Kevin Sinclair at third slip. Sinclair made no mistake in grabbing the catch and showed a clasped-hands celebration to the crowd. Check out the video below.

Earlier, Sinclair also trapped Marnus Labuschagne in the first innings for just 3 runs. However, it was Jose Alzarri who made him a victim in the first inning. As a result, Labuschange was unable to put up a good show in both innings.

West Indies beat Australia in first innings

Meanwhile, the second Test of AUS vs WI entered into an interesting mode after day 3. West Indies overtook Australia in the first innings by registering 311 batting first. Australia later declared at 289-9, trailing by 22 runs.

However, Australia did not allow the visitors to score a big total in the second innings and tied them for 193. Australia have a target of 216 in the last innings and they reached 60-2 after losing. Usman Khawaja (10) and Marbus Labuschagne (5).

In the first innings, Kavem Hodge scored a wonderful 71 runs for Australia. Joshua Da Silva (79) and Kevin Sinclair (50) also scored brilliant half-centuries. For Australia, Usman Khawaja scored 75 runs. Alex Carey (65) and Pat Cummins (64*) scored magnificent fifties.

Australia needs 216 runs to win matches and series

Among the bowlers, Alzarri Joseph picked up 4 wickets while Kemar Roach picked 3 wickets for West Indies in the first innings. For Australia, Mitchell Starc dismissed 4 scalps, while Josh Hazlewood and Natan Lyon He took 2 wickets each. AUS vs WI test series consists of 2 games. With the West Indies trailing 1-0, they need to beat Australia in the second Test to tie the series.
