Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui stunned the crowd at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Mumbai during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). The exhibition match of the league took place between the Master XI team and Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi XI.

Sachin Tendulkar stole the limelight during the league exhibition match between the Master XI team and Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi XI. He exuded class with the bat while playing and entertained the crowd with his brief innings in the crease.

Sachin Tendulkar timed the ball perfectly from the beginning and hit big hits in his innings. However, the introduction of Munawar Faruqui into the attack changed the complexion of the game, and the entire crowd was stunned when the comedian took a big bat.

Munawar Faruqui was introduced into the attack in the fifth over by captain Akshay Kumar. He soon made an impact when he removed Sachin Tendulkar in the second ball. The big batsman tried to play an unorthodox shot behind the stumps but failed to make the right connection.

The ball went around the outside edge of the bat and was easily caught by wicketkeeper Naman Ojha. When Sachin Tendulkar passed away, Munawar Faruqui was elated and celebrated the wicket with teammates Robin Uthappa, captain Akshay Kumar and Prateik Babbar.

Sachin Tendulkar scored 30 runs off 17 balls and gave his team a great start. The great batsman also stole the limelight for his gesture towards cricketer Amir Hussain Lone. During his recent trip to Kashmir, the former Indian captain gifted bats to the cricketer.

He also invited Amir Hussain Lone and his family to the ISPL inauguration ceremony. If this was not enough, Sachin Tendulkar opened the innings with para-cricket during the league exhibition match between the Master XI team and Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi XI.

Sachin Tendulkar recently shared his verdict on the importance of playing domestic cricket for state teams. He believes that the addition of Indian players to the state team increases the quality of the youth’s game.

The great batsman highlighted that during his playing days, he was passionate about playing for Mumbai whenever he got the opportunity. On his Twitter account, while congratulating Mumbai for reaching the final, he explained:

“When Indian players join their national teams, the quality of the game for youngsters increases and sometimes new talent is identified. It also gives national players the opportunity to sometimes rediscover the basics.

“Throughout my career, I was passionate about playing for Mumbai whenever I got the opportunity. Growing up, we had 7-8 Indian players in our locker room and it was fun to play alongside them.”

The Indian domestic circuit has become very important lately. this comes later Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan did not agree to play for their state teams and were terminated from their contract with the BCCI.
