Indian National Cricket Team Captain Rohit Sharma played a spectacular shot in the Dharamsala Test. England National Cricket Team Fast pacer Mark Wood’s thunderbolt that impressed No. 1 T20I batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who took his official X-handle to praise his skipper.

The Indian captain is currently leading his team in the fifth and final Test of the series against the Ben Stokes-led England national cricket team. On Day 1 of the 5th Test at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, Rohit Sharma did an exceptional job as captain and was excellent with his fielding and bowling changes.

For England, the best player was Zak Crawley and like his previous outings on the tour of India, the opening batsman failed to convert his start into a big score. Crawley scored 79 runs off 108 balls, before being cleaned up by a jaffa from Kuldeep Yadav.

After packing the visitors for a low score, Indian openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma came to bat and the duo made sure to give India a good start to the innings.

Both players batted with positive intent and punished the bowlers from time to time to stay ahead in the game. Rohit and Jaiswal scored fantastic half-centuries and added 104 runs in 124 balls for the opening partnership.

The Indian skipper hit some beautiful boundaries during his stay in the middle on Day 1, but the one that caught fans’ attention was his excellent shot off fast pacer Mark Wood.

On the fourth ball of the fourth over, Mark Wood hit a 151.2 kmph bouncer to Rohit, but the pacer would not have expected to be punished. The Indian captain got inside the crease and hooked the ball for a beautiful six.
