Kuldeep Yadav was with Indian team for the third Test against New Zealand.

Kuldeep Yadav is still with the team during the ongoing New Zealand Test series and was seen carrying drinks and other things in the third match.

Despite performing well in the first Test in Bengaluru against New Zealand, Kuldeep Yadav was dropped from the second Test and also did not feature in the third. He took three wickets in a losing cause in the first match and should have continued in the following matches.

He is a true wicket-taker, capable of grabbing wickets even on unusable tracks, a trait that made India try him in the longer format. Still, he was not included and was absent from the squad for the tour of Australia, which begins later this month.

However, the BCCI clarified his exclusion from the Down Under series, revealing that Kuldeep was referred to the BCCI Center of Excellence to cure a chronic problem in his left groin. He is still with the team during the ongoing New Zealand Test series and was seen carrying drinks and other things in the third match.

Therefore, there are questions as to why he is still with the team and not receiving treatment for his injury. According to the official statement, it is because he will go to the BCCI Center of Excellence once the New Zealand series ends.

“Kuldeep Yadav was not available for selection for the tour of Australia as he was referred to the BCCI Center of Excellence after the end of the ongoing Test series against New Zealand for long-term resolution of his chronic groin problem. left”. read the official statement.

He is not sure if he is fit to play and, if so, why he was replaced in the second game. Yes, Sundar has done well, but Kuldeep has not done anything wrong to be eliminated.

And if he is not fit to play, why is he traveling with the team unnecessarily, especially after Sundar’s inclusion in the squad? You should be able to return to full fitness during this period.

Meanwhile, his exclusion from the Australian tour appears to be more than a matter of injury. Maybe the selectors wanted to include Washington Sundar in the team, so they had to find a reason to leave out Kuldeep.

Kuldeep’s groin injury is possibly minor and not significant enough to rule him out of the five-match Test series in Australia. But since there was no place for him, it was an opportunity to allow Kuldeep to heal his injured groin.
