As the crash of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is underway, a new captain comes out with the red and blue attire. Rajat Patidar does not lead his side today. Instead, Jitesh Sharma has been appointed captain of this 2025 clash of the Premier League (IPL) of India at the Ekana stadium in Lucknow. The clash was originally scheduled to play at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. But he moved to a neutral place due to bad weather in Garden City.
Why do Rajat Patidar not captain RCB?
In the launch of La Moneda, Jitesh mentioned that Patidar appears as one of the impact players. Another news of the center is that RCB won the raffle and decided to play first.
This change in alignment occurs after Patidar picked up a finger injury during RCB’s last shock against Chennai Super Kings before the unprecedented suspension of the League.
Leading an IPL franchise for the first time, Patidar has led RCB to the playoffs. With the Willow, he has made 239 races in 10 tickets, which include two fifty. It has been one of the key batters in the average order.
Similarly, this is JITESH’s first time to lead RCB. Previously, he led his former Punjab Kings team, against the same opponents, the SRH. Keeper-Batter bats more lower the order to add some fast runs on the board. In eight tickets, he has not remained three times while collecting 128 races.
As we advance at the end of the season, RCB needs two victories to finish in the first two points of the points table. Two other teams are also in dispute to finish strong before the Playoffs of IPL 2025, which makes this content exciting to the last accessory.
