‘I still want to play’: Brendan Taylor

The ban will end in a few months, so Taylor can play again from July 25. While Taylor had thought about changing training, he was the managing director of Zimbabwe Cricket, Givemor Makoni, who persuaded him to continue playing.

“I still want to play and I think I could have an impact as a player. I look where I am physically and mentally, and if I did not feel that I could do it, I would not bother me. Givemore has really supported me. Okay, I will have 41 years then, but with plenty, I am living my most true form,” said Taylor, said Espncricinfo.

Taylor opened the incident after four months and issued a public statement in January 2022.

When Brendan Taylor announced the retirement of the International Cricket

Instead of moving forward with the offer of the ficatros of the matches, Taylor announced his retirement from the International Cricket in September 2021. However, he did not reveal why he had announced his retirement. In an attempt to recover even more, Taylor underwent rehabilitation in a center of the Nyanga Zimbabwe region, where he spent 90 days along with another patient and a sponsor.

Taylor said the sponsor “showed me a new way of living.” However, Taylor has recovered completely from his drug addiction and alcohol since then and even opened a private training center at home. He has also made a gradual return to training. Although he still cannot play with national and international teams, the 39 -year -old has been training using the facilities in ST John’s College found in Harare.

Since he made his international debut in 2004, Taylor has played 34 tests, 205 Odi and 45 T20i for Zimbabwe. He has scored 2,320, 6,684 and 934 races in the three formats respectively, batting 17 hundred and 57 fifty.
