“Bring back Ishan Kishan” – Twitter slams KS Bharat as torrid run in Tests continues

Twitter reactions on KS Bharat, Ishan Kishan

Fans on Twitter reacted after India’s wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat committed another failure in Test cricket in the ongoing second innings of the second Test against England. The match between the teams will be held at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

KS Bharat is not living up to expectations as it has posted a series of low scores in Test cricket. The batter was removed from the team. However, Ishan Kishan’s absence from the team led to the BCCI recalling him to the team for two Tests against England.

KS Bharat played decent knocks in the first Test but couldn’t capitalize on the outing he got. But with his return to the team, something special was expected of him. With the second game underway at his house, he was expected to play a very important role in the game.

But that was not the case as he failed in both innings. KS Bharat scored 17 runs in the first innings and then scored another miss in the second innings. He couldn’t get going at all and ended up giving up his wicket to spinner Rehan Ahmed.

Rehan Ahmed bowled a short ball and took a touch which caused the ball to hit high off the bat. Bharat failed to dispatch the ball and ended up looping the ball which was caught by captain Ben Stokes with ease.

KS Bharat managed only 6 runs off 28 balls in the second innings. His wicket left the team reeling at 228/7. With young batsman Dhruv Jurel also in the team, it will not be a surprise if the wicketkeeper-batsman is dropped for the third match between the teams in Rajkot, starting February 15.
