Ravindra Jadeja played a decent hand with the bat in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants. The all-rounder came to bat at number 4 and played a vital innings after the team lost two early wickets in Ajinkya Rahane and Daryl Mitchell at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Ravindra Jadeja scored 16 runs off 19 balls and hit two boundaries in his innings. He formed a brave partnership with captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and got the team out of trouble. The duo added 52 runs for the partnership and helped the team surpass 100 runs on the board.
After Jadeja got out, it was captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, who took the charge and played blind. The captain scored his second ton in the Indian Premier League and ensured that his team surpassed 200 runs against the Lucknow Super Giants in the 39th match of the tournament.
