Delhi Capitals take on Gujarat Titans in the reverse match of IPL 2024 on Wednesday, April 24. The match starts at 7:30 pm IST. Delhi Capitals won the first match between the two teams played in Ahmedabad.

DC bowled out GT for just 89 runs and chased the game within nine overs to win with NNR rising two points, THe Capitals won against LSG and GT consecutively but lost their previous game against SRH.

At the small Kotla ground, Sunrisers Hyderabad hammered the DC bowlers on their way to 266. This is the second time that the DC bowlers conceded a total of over 250. Against the Mumbai Indians, they conceded 234.

The Capitals are 10th in the points table and need to turn their campaign around in the second half of the tournament to be in the top four and hopefully make the playoffs.

David Warner

Warner hasn’t been as free so far this season. He scored only one in his previous match against SRH. He has just scored 167 runs in the first seven games at a strike rate of 135.77 and an average of less than 25.

Prithvi Shaw

Shaw started well but has been declining in the IPL as of now. He scored 16 off five balls in the match against SRH. In total, he has scored 174 runs in six matches at an average of 29. He is scoring with a high strike rate, but not too many.

Jake Fraser-McGurk

He scored 65b off just 18 balls in the big chase against SRH. His offensive approach to hitting is the approach C hitters need.

Rishabh Pant (C/WK)

It will be located at four. He scored 44 off 35 balls against SRH at a strike rate of 125, but it was a lost cause. The DC captain has scored 254 runs in five matches at a strike rate of 150.30.

Tristan Stubbs

Stubbs has been a good addition to the middle order for DC. He has made important cameos for his team so far this season. He has scored 199 runs in the tournament and scored them at a strike rate of 180.91.

Axar Patel

Axar Patel will take over at six. He hasn’t scored runs consistently with the bat for the Delhi Capitals, but he has been stingy with the bat for the team. His association with Kuldeep Yadav has been key.

Lalit Yadav

Lalit is an all-rounder but he doesn’t have much chance with the bat. His main job remains with the ball to bowl economical overs in the middle.

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep will come in at eight. He missed a few games due to injury and DC missed him greatly. He missed 4/55 in the match against SRH and 10 in five matches so far in this season’s IPL.

Anrich Nortje

Nortje is the fourth foreign player specialized in the eleven. He joined the team late and was cut from a few games. Against SRH, he scored 31 in his three overs.

Khaleel Ahmed

Khaleel will be one of the two Indian pacers in the DC XI. He went wicketless in the previous match bowling a spell of 51 in three overs. He has taken 10 wickets in 8 games.

Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh will be the second Indian pacer in the XI. He has taken nine wickets in five games so far this season. In total, he has 16 IPL wickets.

Sub-Abishek Porel Impact

Porel has been consistently used as an Impact Sub by the Delhi Capitals. Against SRH, he scored 42 off 22 balls. He has maintained a high strikeout rate whenever he has batted for the team.
