CSK’s injury list grows! Ramakrishna Ghosh RULED OUT from IPL 2026 after foot fracture against MI

Chennai Super Kings’ campaign has been rocked by injuries on multiple occasions in this edition of the TATA IPL 2026. They have lost many of their star players before the start of the season or in the middle of it.

Even the legendary MS Dhoni is yet to play a match for the Super Kings, despite reports claiming that he has completed his rehabilitation and is seen in the CSK nets working hard to fast-track his comeback. In the midst of all this, the Men in Yellow side has faced another hard blow.

However, CSK also have some positives, with their captain Ruturaj Gaikwad looking in good touch with two consecutive fifties in the last two matches and Sanju Samson having scored a few runs at the end of those two centuries. Kartik Sharma also scored some runs in the last chase against Mumbai Indians.

Big blow for Men in Yellow: CSK all-rounder ruled out of IPL 2026

The CSK team has gained some momentum in their campaign but has suffered another surprising setback in this edition of the IPL as bowling all-rounder Ramakrishna Ghosh is ruled out after their first match against MI at Chepauk.

It has been officially reported that he has suffered a fracture in his right foot and will no longer be a part of CSK for the rest of the season. CSK confirmed this with an official post on their official page on X.

Players ruled out for CSK in IPL 2026

Nathan Ellis was the first to be ruled out for the Chennai Super Kings, so Matt Henry started the season for the Super Kings. The Australian was supposed to be his main bowling helper after the departure of Matheesha Pathirana.

Spencer Johnson, his replacement, also missed half the season, while Dewald Brevis was not part of CSK’s opening matches. MS Dhoni has not played a single match after suffering a calf injury at the start of the season.

Khaleel Ahmed was ruled out of the season just as he had started to form a bowling partnership with top wicket-taking star Anshul Kamboj. Ayush Mhatre has also been ruled out for the rest of the season, after the 18-year-old played some really good knocks earlier in the season.
