T Natarajan castles Lalit Yadav

T Natarajan picked up his first wicket in the ongoing game between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad with his trademark yorker. The left-arm pacer castled Lalit Yadav with a brilliant delivery to put SRH firmly in the driver’s seat at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.

In a game where batsmen scored runs for fun, T Natarajan bowled two brilliant overs. He conceded only 12 runs in his first two overs, although he failed to pick any wicket. After DC raced to 81 for 2 in just 5 overs, captain Pat Cummins handed the ball to T Natarajan to bowl the finale of the powerplay.

The Tamil Nadu pacer did not disappoint as he conceded just seven runs in his first over. DC continued to score at an impressive rate and raced to 138 for 4 after just ten overs before T Natarajan was awarded the ball again. The fast bowler lived up to expectations again by bowling a tight 11th over as he conceded just five runs.

He then bowled the 15th over and picked up his first wicket of the game and at the same time conceded only seven runs in the over. On the last ball of the over, T Natarajan went for a yorker. Lalit Yadav made space for himself and hit hard. However, he was unable to make any contact with the ball. The ball ended up crashing into the stumps.

Talking about the game, DC were 188/6 after 17 overs and needed an improbable 79 runs in the last three overs. Captain Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel batted in the middle order for the hosts. Early in the innings, Jake Fraser-McGurk’s 15-ball fifty gave DC a flying start but the middle-order batsmen failed to capitalize on it.

In the first half of the game, Travis Head’s blistering knock propelled SRH to a mammoth total of 266 for 7. He smashed 89 off just 32 balls with the help of 11 fours and six sixes.
