Meanwhile, England currently lead the ongoing four-match T20I series 1-0 after securing a 23-run win over Pakistan in the second T20I held at Edgbaston after the first match was abandoned in Leeds due to rain, followed by game three as well in Cardiff. Pakistan to start T20 WC 2024 campaign against United States

This T20I series is the last bilateral encounter for the England and Pakistan teams before embarking on their journey towards the T20 World Cup 2024. Defending champions England will begin the defense of their title against Scotland on June 4 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The England cricket team is qualified with Australia, Oman and Namibia in Group B of the T20 World Cup 2024, with matches taking place in Barbados and Antigua. On the other hand, Pakistan is placed alongside India, Ireland, Canada and the United States in Group A of the ICC mega tournament.
