ICC World Test Championship Final: “Josh Hazlewood Is Considered Fit And Available For The WTC And Ashes Series” – Cricket Australia

Cricket Australia (CA) is optimistic about the availability of veteran pacer Josh Hazlewood for the World Test Championship (WTC) final in 2023 and the Ashes 2023. Cricket Australia confirmed that Josh Hazlewood is experiencing minor pain and has returned to the game after completing their last Indian Premier League (IPL) Match 2023.

Josh Hazlewood was ruled out of the 2023 Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) series in India due to an Achilles tendon injury. The right-arm pacer missed the first half of IPL 2023 and returned to the game against Lucknow Super Giants. He played three matches in the tournament and picked up three wickets at an economic rate of 8.44.
