The ongoing warm-up match between India and Bangladesh in New York was briefly interrupted as a fan entered the ground. The game will take place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York.
The incident took place in the second half of the game when India was bowling. The fan invaded the field to meet India captain Rohit Sharma. The police officers quickly took down the fan and Rohit asked them to be lenient, but his plea made no difference as the security officers escorted the fan off the field.
The fan who stormed the field and hugged Rohit Sharma was arrested by the US police.
