Australia defeated India in the World Test Championship final at the London Ovals a week ago to win the title. The team chosen by rohit sharma and manager Rahul Dravid received criticism from many pundits and former cricketers. Ravichandran Ashwin, the world’s highest ranked Test bowler, was replaced in the starting XI by Umesh Yadav, an Indian pacer star. Ashwin recently spoke about the privacy of him after years of silence.
In an interview with Indian Express, Ashwin was asked if he assessed his ability in the wake of the snub. In response he replied, “That’s a tough question to answer, right? Because we are right after the WTC final. I would have loved to play because I have helped us get there. Even in the last final I got four wickets and bowled very well. Since 2018-19 my bowling abroad has been fantastic and I have managed to win games for the team.
“I see him as a captain or a coach and I only speak in retrospect, in his defense. So last time we were in England it was 2-2 with a drawn Test and they would have felt that 4 pacers and 1 spinner is the combination in England. That’s what they might have thought going into the final. said Ravichandran Ashwin.

“I am 36 years old and honestly, what causes you what gives you happiness, changes. Yes, whenever I get a text from some of the former senior cricketers, I always get excited and reply immediately. That’s because of how I’ve seen them when I was young.” added Ravichandran Ashwin.
