Indonesian teenager Rohmalia Rohmalia made cricket history during a women’s T20I match against Mongolia. Rohmalia Rohmalia recorded the best bowling figures in the history of men’s and women’s Twenty20 international cricket on Wednesday 25 April.

Rohmalia Rohmalia made her international debut during the fifth T20I of the series against Mongolia in Bali. Rohmalia took seven wickets without conceding any runs. The young bowler dismissed seven batsmen for ducks, setting a new record for best bowling figures in all T20Is.

Rohmalia Rohmalia surpasses the record of Frederique Overdijk of the Netherlands

The 17-year-old bowler surpassed the previous record held by Dutchman Frederique Overdijk. She became the third women’s T20I bowler to claim seven wickets in a match. Argentine bowler Alison Stocks also took seven wickets for three runs in a match against Peru.

Indonesia achieves clean sweep against Mongolia

Indonesia posted a total of 151 for the loss of five wickets after opting to bat first. Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini was the standout player, scoring 61 runs off 44 balls, including six boundaries and one six. Mendbayaar Enkhzul took four crucial wickets for 29 runs in his four overs.

In response, Mongolia bowled just 24 runs in 16.2 overs. Indonesia achieved a resounding victory by 127 runs. Rohmalia Rohmalia made a notable impact in the match, taking a wicket with his first ball. Rohmalia bowled just 3.2 overs and did not concede a single run off his bowling.

Rohmalia also made his contribution with the bat in the fifth T20I, scoring 13 runs off 15 balls, including a boundary. Rohmalia failed to get a wicket in the last T20I match, giving away nine runs in three overs. Indonesia completed the series with a 6-0 victory on Thursday.
