Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced each other in the 15th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The match between the two teams took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Tuesday (April 2). ).

RCB had a strong opening stand between Virat Kohli (22) and Faf du Plessis (19) as the duo added 40 runs to the opening partnership. But after that, wickets fell like a pack of cards as Mayank Yadav oozed class and worried the opposition batsmen with pace.
With RCB reeling at 103/6, Mahipal Lomror played some magnificent shots in his innings and revived the fans’ hopes. He scored 33 runs off just 13 balls but could not continue as he fell in the 18th over and with his wicket, the home team almost lost the game.
LSG then closed the game quite well and made sure to win their second game of the game. RCB managed only 153 runs and lost the game by 28 runs. This was their third defeat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
