Mumbai Indians got off to a great start to their innings as Ishan Kishan (40) batted superbly well. Rohit Sharma (19) struggled at the other end but the duo added 65 runs for the opening stand and then lost wickets quickly.

With Mumbai Indians struggling at 67/2, Suryakumar Yadav (11) tried to get going but he too died early. The visitors were in the doldrums as they lost Hardik Pandya and Tim David and were reeling at 92 for five at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
