KL Rahul created history in the ongoing TATA Indian Premier League 2026 (TATA IPL 2026) with his stunning knock that left everyone stunned during the ongoing clash between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, April 25.

Delhi Capitals’ (DC) opener fell twice – once when Shashank Singh had him for 12 in the third over and again for 51 by Vijaykumar Vyshak in the 10th over and Rahul made the most of those lifelines against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The Indian batsman scored a remarkable knock of unbeaten 152 off 67 balls, combined with 16 boundaries and 9 sixes. KL Rahul’s strong knock not only helped Delhi Capitals post a mammoth 264/2 on the board against PBKS but also helped him write IPL history.

Rahul became the first Indian to score 150 in IPL history, and now his 152-run knock is the third-highest individual score in the league’s history. With this knock, the right-handed batsman also became the second Indian in men’s T20 cricket to score more than 150 runs after Tilak Varma.

Tilak had achieved the feat in the 2024-25 season by scoring 151 for Hyderabad against Meghalaya in the national tournament.
