There is some relief for South African speedster Lungi Ngidi and the Delhi Capitals (DC) after a scary moment during their IPL 2026 clash against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 25. Lungi Ngidi has now been discharged from hospital and has returned to the DC team hotel.

The fast bowler had suffered a head injury during DC’s previous IPL 2026 match against Punjab Kings, leaving everyone worried about him. Fortunately, doctors have confirmed that there is nothing serious or life-threatening.

However, Ngidi is still under close medical observation and will need more time to fully recover. Due to this, he is virtually ruled out for Delhi Capitals’ home match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 27 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
