Mohammad Rizwan will be Pakistan’s opener in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He and Babar Azam showed better work as openers in the previous T20I series against England and the team could retain them as openers in the World Cup as well.
Babar Azam (C)
Babar Azam is Pakistan’s captain in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and will lead the team in the upcoming clash against India. The right-handed batsman would open the batting with Rizwan.
Usman Khan
Usman Khan could occupy the position of one less as he showed great form in the previous series against England. He scored 38 in one of the games.

Fakhar Zaman
Fakhar Zaman could bat in the middle order for Pakistan in the clash against India. The left-handed batsman is an experienced member of the team who played a 45-run knock in the previous series.
Shadab Khan
Shadab Khan will be a crucial all-rounder for Pakistan against India. He showed excellent form in PSL 2024 and won the title for Islamabad United under his leadership. He also maintained impressive form in both batting and bowling.
Azam Khan (WK)
Azam Khan could be chosen as Pakistan’s wicketkeeper as he also played a similar role in the previous T20I series. However, he couldn’t get the attention by going out for 11 and ducking.
Ahmed Iftikhar
Iftikhar Ahmed is a powerful lower order batsman from Pakistan who can score maximum runs in the death overs. He will bat last in the clash against India.

Mohamed Amir
Mohammad Amir will be an X-factor for Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He was added to the national team just before the tournament. He helped Pakistan defeat India in the 2017 Champions Trophy final and is a lethal pacer for the team.
