Pat Cummins has revealed why India has a “great advantage” in the Champions Trophy 2025.
The regular Captain of Australia, Pat Cummins, has criticized the decision of the International Cricket Council (ICC) to let India play all his Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Dubai, claiming that the men of blue who play in one place gives them A “great advantage.” This occurs after Team India refused to travel to the host nation, Pakistan due to security concerns. The tournament is ongoing in a hybrid model. A similar model was implemented during the Asia 2023 Cup when India played all her games in Sri Lanka.
“I think it is good that the tournament can continue, but obviously gives (India) a great advantage playing in the same land. They look very strong and have that obvious benefit of playing all their games there, “he said that Yahoo Sports Australia cited him.
Currently, Cummins lacks the mega event due to an ankle injury. Steven Smith leads Australia in the absence of Cummins.
