Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has provided an update on his fitness ahead of the third Test against England. The match between the two teams will take place from February 15 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association ground in Rajkot.

Ravindra Jadeja suffered a hamstring injury during the second innings of the first game in Hyderabad. The all-rounder was deemed unfit to participate in the second match in Visakhapatnam and was also dropped from the team. He then headed to the NCA to recover and worked hard there.

Ravindra Jadeja was then included in India’s squad for the last three Tests against England. But her availability was subject to aptitude. The all-rounder was seen batting in the nets days before the third match in Rajkot, which will also be her home Test.

With the third Test between India and England just a couple of days away, Ravindra Jadeja posted a photo on his Instagram account. She did a physical exercise and said that she looks good in the Indian training uniform.

Here is the post:

This could well be an indication that Ravindra Jadeja will be in top form when the third Test between India and England begins. His return to the team will be a great boost, as it will allow the team to have the right balance and approach the game with the perfect combination.

Ravindra Jadeja has been in good form with both bat and ball in Tests. He played a very important role for the team in the first match, but his efforts went in vain as India suffered a disappointing defeat. He was the team’s highest run-getter in the first innings with 87 runs to his name and with the ball he picked 6 wickets in the match, including a four-wicket haul in the first innings.

Ravindra Jadeja will be eager to get fit as soon as possible to play in front of his home crowd in Rajkot. The all-rounder, along with Cheteshwar Pujara, will be facilitated by the Saurashtra Cricket Association for his contributions to Indian cricket ahead of the match.

Ravindra Jadeja could play Rajkot Test; KL Rahul ruled out

India are reflecting on KL Rahul’s fitness ahead of the third Test. The batsman has been ruled out of the game in Rajkot as he is not yet fully fit. He was ruled out of the second Test along with Ravindra Jadeja after suffering quadriceps pain.

Ravindra Jadeja was seen training with the team in Rajkot, while KL Rahul will remain with the NCA. Since the all-rounder practices before the match with the team, it will not be a surprise if he plays in the third match. If he returns, he is likely to replace Kuldeep Yadav in the XI.

On the other hand, BCCI has brought in Devdutt Padikkal into the team as a replacement for KL Rahul. The young batsman is unlikely to feature in the game but there have been reports suggesting that Sarfaraz Khan will make his debut for the team.
